Dr. Harris L. Rittenberg was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. He graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. degree in chemistry in 1979. In 1983 he graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He served as president of the dental college student body in 1982 and upon graduation was awarded the Mosby Book Award of Achievement.

While practicing in South Florida, he met his wife Meryl. They returned to her native Jacksonville in 1986 and established his dental practice this same year. They are blessed with two children.

Dr. Rittenberg is currently a member of the Jacksonville Dental society, the Florida Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
